Aloha! We are the Ka Lama Mohala hula dancers of Utah! Hula is an ancient Hawaiian art form rich in culture and history. It is also a beautiful and graceful dance unlike any other. Traditionally hula is taught by a Kumu or teacher who has learned the art form from another Kumu whose dances have been passed on generation to generation leading back to the ancient days of Hawaii. We are led by Kumu Hula Kawika Alfiche and his two Alaka’i or student leaders.

We offer hula dance lessons every Tuesday at the Hawaiian Cultural Center In Midvale

We welcome all ages, genders and levels from beginners to advanced classes

Our Current Class Schedule is:

Keiki (Children) 5:30 – 6:30pm
Beginner (Ages 13 & up) 6:30 – 7:00pm
Advanced 7:00 – 8:30pm
